Marco Santi graduated in economics magna cum laude at the University of Bologna in 1978. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980 and as an Auditor in 1995.
He worked for more than two decades in a leading audit firm affiliated to one of the most important international networks among the so-called ‘Big Four’, where he reached the positions of Managing Director and of International Contact Partner, before committing to private practice and joining STUDIO LEGALE GSA in 2002 where he is head of the department of corporate accounting and business organization.
He is Professor of Auditing and Professional Methodology at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan. In addition to giving advice on matters relating to corporate finance transactions, his practice includes forensic advice, and he is often appointed as technical expert in civil, criminal and administrative trials.
He is author of works on various topics concerning auditing and he gives talks and lectures at seminars and courses on professional auditing skills and techniques.
