Maria Cristina Colombo graduated in law magna cum laude at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan in 1991. She has been research and teaching assistant at the Public Law Department of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, research fellow in Urban Planning and Environmental Law at the Università degli Studi of Florence and in Administrative Law at the Università degli Studi of Pavia. She gives lectures and writes articles on public contracts, planning and zoning law.
She is specialized in administrative, planning and environmental law as well as in public contracts. Her practice includes regulatory work in connection with independent authorities such as Consob (the financial industry regulator), the Supervisory Authority for Public Works, and with various Ministries.
She is a member of S.L.A.A. (the Lombard Society of Administrative Lawyers), and legal advisor to local and regional councils, professional associations, public bodies and State-owned companies.
She is author of works on public contracts, planning and zoning law, of a Commentary on the Code of Public Contracts, and of several articles on planning and public contracts.
She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court.
