Maurizio Galbiati graduated in law magna cum laude at the Università degli Studi of Milan in 1982 and he was for several years research and teaching assistant to Professor Pietro Trimarchi in the Civil Law Department at the Università degli Studi of Milan.
His professional activity began at the law firm of Prof. Avv. Maurizio Bocchiola, with a special focus on commercial law, corporate law and contracts. He founded STUDIO LEGALE GSA together with Avv. Aldo Sacchi in 1996.
He has gained significant expertise in the practice areas of M&A, corporate restructuring and insolvency procedures, including those relating to listed companies.
His practice includes litigation in corporate and administrative law matters, and he has also been involved in major arbitration procedures in the same areas of practice.
He is author of articles and reports on corporate and civil law, and he gives talks and lectures at seminars and in law masters programs concerning his areas of practice.
He is admitted to practise before the Supreme Court and authorized to appear before the Conciliation and Arbitration Chamber at Consob (the financial industry regulator).
