Giampaolo Furlan graduated in law at the Università degli Studi of Milan in 1985 and began his professional career at the law firm of Cherubini-Diodà-Fezzi-Venanzi, practising in labour law.
He is specialized in labour law (both public and private) and social security law, agency and distribution contracts, and also assists clients in litigation matters concerning his practice areas.
He is a member of A.G.I. (the Italian Association of Labour Lawyers), where he sits on the “Direzione della Scuola di Alta Formazione in Diritto del Lavoro, Sindacale e della Previdenza Sociale” (the Governing Body of the College of Labour, Trade Union and Social Security Rights) and is President of the “Commissione Istituzioni” (Institutional Commission), as well as member of EELA (the European Employment Lawyers Association).
He writes articles for Diritto & Pratica del Lavoro (‘Employment Law & Practice’), published by Ipsoa, Guida al Lavoro (‘Employment Guidebook’), published by Il Sole 24 Ore, and Mass. Giur. Lav. (‘Synopsis of Employment Case Law’), published by Il Sole 24 Ore, as well as for the on-line column Casi e Questioni (‘Cases and Issues’), published by Ipsoa.
He is also author of works on topics concerning labour law and privacy law.
He gives talks and lectures for courses and masters programs, as well as at the College of Labour, Trade Union and Social Security Rights sponsored by A.G.I., by the Bar Association of Milan and by the National Italian Bar.
